Claim using legal cover or independent solicitor

Hi,
I was involved in a car accident few days ago. When I took out the car insurance I've paid the extra for the legal cover.
I was contacted by Silverbeck Rymer and Quindell who work with Endsleigh and they would be dealing with my claim as well as try to recover all costs associated with the accident. I wouldn't have to pay any fees or any % of the compensation.
On the other hand I've got a known and trusted solicitor who will charge me 25% of the total compensation once the case is won.
I've done some googling and I must say Silverbeck Rymer and Quindell have really poor reviews on the internet and I'm stuck between those 2.
What would you do? Do you have any experience dealing with those 2 companies?

The factory firms like Silverbecks will just try & kill the claim off as quickly as possible as whether they do 10 mins of work or 10 hours, they will only get paid £500 + VAT costs by the at fault party's insurer (assuming liability for the accident is not disputed etc)
On the other hand, your known solicitor will have to achieve a settlement payment more than 25% more than what Silverbecks achieve, just for you to break even.
Crystal ball is in for a service at the moment, so can't really say which way this would work for you I'm afraid.0
