which sander

Hi Help please!!!!!!!!!!
I need to buy a sander but have no idea which type to go for.
I need to sand walls, plus doors and skirting boards ready to decorate and have no idea which is the best to get.
would prefer cordless but corded would be ok.
I am a girly so not one that is too heavy aswell please.
Any help or advice is gratefully accepted,

I'd go for something that'll take standard sheets of sandpaper when cut down, the sheets will work out cheaper.

A number of sanders only take sheets that are custom shaped/have holes in 'em.
