Selecting a google account by default

I have 2 Google accounts account1@gmail.com and account2@gmail.com. I have recently re-installed Windows and for some reason when I open a Google webpage it opens as an account2@gmail.com page so if I go to Google Docs I get the docs from account2@gmail.com. If I sign out and into account1@gmail.com, it works but after a few minutes it reverts back to account2@gmail.com. How do I set my default account to be account1@gmail.com?

I had something similar and it was definitely browser related as it only happened in Chrome - I think I had to log out, clear cache and cookies, and then log in using my default account, then in the top right corner where the name is select 'add account' and add the second email account.
For me that made the one I was logged in as the primary and the one I then added was secondary.

Of course, it may be something different for you but I hope this helps.
