I have asked the guy that I bought this item from ,a power seller with a good feedback and over 1775 transactions to file a claim for me which he has on the 7th March again emailing me proof

Where do i go from here ?,for all know the guy could have had a the refund and its sitting in his account

I did ask when it was posted for a tracking number but the seller told me it wasnt an option

Unfortunately you are out of time for a paypal chargeback, the limit is now 45 days.

I really don't know what else to suggest after this length of time. Did you fund your paypal purchase via a credit card? If so, try putting in a claim through them but even then I'm not sure what sort of time limits they have.

I know it is no help now, but for future purchases never let the paypal chargeback time limit expire, it's there to protect you.

All I can think of is to contact the Royal Mail and see what they can do to help, also if the seller is un coperative try reporting him to ebay as a non performing seller.

Where was the item coming from? Soo is right you are too late for PayPal claim.

Personally I would keep in touch with the seller, if he has a good reputation I think he will sort it out for you. Phone him??

I bought something from the USA once and got the item 3 months later..if it's valuable it could be held up at customs, i'd ring them to check, i'm not sure if these numbers will help but give it a go if you have a tracking number..

    Mount Pleasant mail 0207 239 2499
    or
    Coventry
    02476212860

If not then get hold of the customs phone number and try them.

This number is customs national helpline, they may have advice 0845 010 9000

Kim03, you make a very valid point I had totally forgotten about customs and such like. I agree that it would be well worth a phone call to see if it is being held by them.
