Remortgaging after IVA

My husband and I are currently in an IVA. The 5 years is up October next year. Our Interest only mortgage ends October 2018. We cashed in our endownment policies years ago. Should we wait until the IVA ends to remortgage or do it now. We currently have our mortgage with Redstone mortgages who have recently sent us a letter for a field agent to come round to see us. What we need to know is:

1. When should we try to remortgage (for a repayment mortgage)
2. Should we ask Redstone to remortgage or go elsewhere
3. The field agent is not mandatory so should we refuse.

Thanks for any advice
