Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Had a look in my local PC World, the shelf next to their actual price label was empty, but the products themselves were stacked on a different shelf next to a label for much cheaper Advent products. Took one to the cashier to get a price check... one glance at the £5.95 on till and he went to ask manager who came out and said it was a misprice and he'd pull them from the shelves straight away. I asked what the real price was meant to be, they couldn't tell me. I asked when they'd know, they couldn't tell me. I pouted a little and wandered back to "look" at other models, was in there for at least another 20mins and no attempt was made by any staff to remove them or even come look at the shelves.

Guess I probably heightened the cashiers attention to the job by asking for a price, but if they'd fixed it then I don't want £60 spendage.... always thought they were quite overpriced for their limited quality, but would have a go if they were better priced. Worth a go :D

Stupid? Actually quite bright and resourceful.
manager came back about 5min later and said something about them being "quarantined" his words not mine. what a load of poo.
The poo is that the management was too incompetent or lazy to remove them all from the shelves or update the prices on their system.

I'm sure you'd be the first to moan if all the prices went up due to people exploiting mis-prices. You should be encouraging people who show initiative because you will get better service from them than the usual droids, not condemning them because they detect that you are trying to pull a fast one. Had you been less greedy and not tried to buy two lots (who wants four webcams?), you might have got away with it.
Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.
  • i would go and get one from the chesterfield store, but it has been closed for the past 3 months for re-furbishment becuase of the floods and will remain closed till October, typical
