I had a GSP case where the buyer in the USA didn't receive the item.
The buyer opened a 'not received' case, and the first I knew about it was when eBay emailed me to say the case had been found in my favour, as they tracking showed that it had got to the GSP centre.
I had no input in the case at all, it was all done by eBay.
eBay provide a tracking number for all the GSP items that they receive at their centre - might be worth clicking on it and see where in the chain the parcel got lost , e.g at the GSP centre, the UK or Germany airport or with the German carrier. Then go back to eBay, and ask them to sort this out - if the item was received at the GSP, you shouldn't have been contacted about this at allEarly retired - 18th December 2014

I can't click on the item and get anywhere- as soon as I click on the item, *my* item which *I* sold, it sends me to the German Ebay site and asks me to log in, I can't get any details other than the picture.
I've given ebay the tracking number I have for the item to prove it arrived with the GSP now several times over by phone and they have checked and verified it has been signed for too.
I initially had loaded the tracking details to the item listing when I had sent it out, but since the item has been reported as not arrived, the tracking number I added is no longer showing under the item icon as it had been and I also can't click on the item without being sent to the German site.
Ebay wont take the details because they say it's now a German Ebay issue and not in their department....0 -
Some good advice above. Just to add you should be able to log into German Ebay with the same log in details as the UK one (unless Ebay has drastically changed recently).

If you do it on Google Chrome there is an auto translate facility that you can click on. It isn't perfect but is pretty good. There are probably add ons on other browsers but Chrome seems to be the easiest in my experience..0 -

When it takes you to the German site have you tried changing the website address?
So just change the de (after ebay.) to co.uk. Leave the rest of the address as it is.
See if takes you to the right page, but on the UK site. Might not work but just thought it might be worth a try.0 -
So today I got another email from Ebay Germany. I was actually able to log in! After a month of being told my details were incorrect or that I was not registered, for some reason today I have been able to log in.
I sent a very detailed email to Ebay Germany explaining what has happened, giving again my tracking number and I was given the option for them to contact me back but only by phone. I was unable to select my Country because it was not listed (Only Germany, Spain, France...etc but not the UK or even the US). I sent the email anyway and added my phone number in case they actually do contact me. I hope I get an email but there was no option to ask to be emailed, only phoned.
I have had a reply telling me I should hear back from them in 48 hours. (Yeah right...) I am not sure if this is progress, but it sort of feels like I'm no real way better than I was yesterday. Money is still being held. Paypal say they wont release it because the dispute is with Ebay and they cannot get involved.0 -

Thanks, I was able to log in via an emailed link today. Not sure what changed (I didn't change anything!) I use Chrome already so had everything translated automatically but not before Google warns me the site is not a UK site which still seems odd to me- I sold an item through the UK site yet cannot use the UK site to resolve the issue!
Am just waiting to see if they do respond to my query (48 hours) but to be honest I've not got that much faith they'll bother to...0
