  • I panic the first few days (frozen bung-in the oven dinners for our household this week!) ...but after a few days I work out which companies are offering prizes which appeal to me & my family so I can red X the ones I'm not interested in and scroll past which makes it a little easier.

I have a generic dental check up tomorrow which I'm so tempted to cancel but I'll regret it if I spend Xmas with a tooth ache! :D

Fatigue is an unfortunate side effect I suffer from So I'm usually in bed by 19:30- way before the younger ones :o But I don't have to stop for food so there is that.
and I'll be going the gym at 8:30 AM instead of 10:00- only three days a week now as it's getting too cold for me to spend much time outside. Only three appointments coming up, so apart from that I should be able to make my normal routine work- providing I don't have another attack, should be ok though as I'm just getting over one :( We shall see  Hopefully things will be clearer by Tuesday or Wednesday- which ones are worth doing :)

I'll continue with the dallies, and pop onto the main board every day if I can, so probably an extra hour or two.

Haven't seen many advents I'm interested in so far, but waiting to see if a few of my favourites are running them this year...

Since they posted this on their FB page November 2014 they have not posted any updates (the website has gone)
Haggis Hunt postponed It is with deep regret that we have been forced to cancel this year's Haggis Hunt.
The website which the Hunt runs on is sadly no longer up to the job and we are currently looking at alternative means of hosting the event.
We would like to apologise to all avid players who have faithfully logged on each year. We will try our upmost to revive the Hunt in time for next year and will post any updates on the Haggis Hunt Facebook page.

I'll enter what I can but never have much luck on the Advents so will likely stick to regular comps then advents only if I get the time as a lot of them these days seem to be % off the website (to get rid of stock that didn't go over Black Friday / Cyber Monday and before the Boxing Day sales start!).

    Cynical....me..;)

What's diddling and why do I have to do it?

Could my newt do it for me?

  • I spent about 2 extra hours per day last year and didn't win a single Advent prize. I've selected a few to do, but I think I'm going to make them the last of my priorities, as I haven't managed to finish my C2Ws for the last two nights. And at least I have had a couple of wins from these in the past.

Seems to be taking hours to do advents this year for me. Tend to start them at midnight so that i have the day free for normal comping. But already am pretty fed up doing them lol
