Oooh, what challenge is that?0 -
Ok I've fallen off the wagon – that didn't take long once I had time to get back online lol! :rotfl:
Placed 2 orders on the Clinique site today, to get the free samples. In my defence, it could have been a lot worse – Clinique is my top brand, I’ve been using it for years, and nothing else works quite so well for me when it comes to the essentials. There are a few things I’ve been wanting (not strictly needed just yet) for a while, and have been keeping an eye on various Bonus Time offers, but none were ever quite good enough.
But the offer today was too good to pass up!
So I got – a new foundation (Beyond Perfecting) which I’ve been wanting for ages, but I’ve been forcing myself to use up some Maybelline mousse that is just ok - I hit the bottom of that this morning for the first time! Still a fair bit left, but I’m getting there. So 5 free samples with that, including an eye cream I use all the time, and a serum that I loooooved from a previous sample.
Then I went back and bought an eye set – with my fave mini mascara, more of the eye cream, and an eyeliner – and then another 5 free deluxe samples with that, all of which I’ll use.
Now I shall go and ban myself from the internet and shopping again0 -
As I understood it (let me know if this isn't right), VALM gave each of those taking part a specific challenge, for example to use up one pink nail varnish before christmas. then I think the person given that challenge had to challenge the next person to UU something else. I remember thinking I'd never be able to use up a nail varnish before christmas so I want to know how everyone is doing!0

I hate throwing things way, but had to TA a Chapstick Original Lip Balm because it had gone manky. I wasn't overly keen on the scent anyway.
One IN
Imperial Leather Apple and Pear Shower Gel - I'm a sucker for anything with an apple scent, and I needed a shower gel (none in the stash, wahey!). I was looking for a shower gel without SLS, but couldn't find one in the three stores I went in yesterday.0 -
Thank you Deleted_User for starting the December thread, signing up for another month please.
IN
10g Youngblood Mineral Loose Powder Foundation Shade Neutral. Strictly speaking I don't need this yet, but it is not easily located in my part of the world and I came a across a salon closing down selling their stock on *bay at a good price:D
First UU
200ml Molton Brown body cream - This was a pink rose candle item that I had kept too long and it had gone a bit thin:(, I have jettisoned the last inch or so as it takes too long to get it absorbed). Replaced with an OPI Avojuice which is a joy to use:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
Willowbee - welcome back. I use one palette/duo or combination of single eyeshadows for one whole month at a time. I would rather get use of 12 different palettes over the year than just one. Last month I used the Naked palette every single day and depressingly you can hardly tell I've used it - and it wasn't new at the start either. Only one shadow has a dip the rest just look swatched.
Welcome back Willowbee. I tend to swap my palettes around every week or so. Have an MUA one that's a dupe of Naked 1 that I have hit pan on three colours. Sadly though the packaging is really wrecked.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I was nominated to use up a full sized body lotion and glitter polish. Have finished a lotion and am targeting 2 more before Xmas. Have just added more nail polish thinner to the glitter polish so will see how that goes.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge.
