No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries December 2015

To begin my wee challenge, I've used up a few products today that were near the end of their life. I've also had a bath for the first time in a while and used up a bit more bath stuff. I'm also sorting out my handbags and putting a hand cream and lip gloss in each so I can get through the stuff quicker.
UU
Hask Repairing Shine Hair Oil 18ml - this used to be sold by the tills at Primark. I love the stuff. It has a lovely orange scent and always makes my hair soft after a blow dry. I would definitely buy this again. It's also good value for a couple of pounds as this little bottle has lasted me a few months. One drop goes a long way.
Vaseline Petroleum Jelly 50g - I used this on my feet overnight in order to use it up but it also worked really well. I would buy it again for the same purpose.
Marks & Spencer Peppermint Breath Refresher Spray 20ml - a little handy spray I had in my handbag. Not much to say about this - a breath spray is a breath spray as far as I'm concerned. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2019 Total UU since 2016 - 396 | Total February UU - 10 -
Deleted_User and hermia, tell me about it . It's the same with a lot of sales, people get far too greedy and it's almost as if they take on a new personality. All for the sake of a bargain. It's like that in the supermarkets at the reduced shelves when it's marking down time for food! When I had my spinal surgery last year mum pushed me round asda in my wheelchair, and she accidentally left me "parked up" briefly near the reduced shelves while she grabbed something. Unfortunately during this time it happened to be marking down time and people literally appeared from nowhere. These people must hang around for this time. This was fine, but a woman then decided to take the brakes off my wheelchair and push me out of the way so she could push in to the reduced section. I wasn't even right in front of it. this still angers me to today and I do wish I'd said something to her. All I could think was, hey I might be in a wheelchair but I'm still a human being just like you!! You have no right to just move me out of the way like that like I'm nothing. If she had of asked nicely or even just acknowledged me I could have shouted over to mum to move me elsewhere, or even if she had of politely asked could she herself move me, I would not have minded!! i get that times are hard but, people just go crazy  after that fiasco, no way was i risking the lush sale in store until it was quiet.
Anyway, for anyone who likes snow fairy it still appears to be in stock but only the 100g bottles left. I will put the lush sale ins on here IF and when they arrive. Not holding my breath can just hope.
2 UU to report:
Herbal essences seriously smooth shampoo- WBA as with the conditioner I love the scent and it seems to do a good job on my hair.
Body shop cranberry joy body butter 50ml- WBA I liked the scent of this and as with all TBS butters I've used recently it was nice and thick and super moisturising. I love that they sink in so quickly. I seem to get through the 50ml ones quite fast however. Replaced it with a 50ml body shop glazed Apple butter. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2015/2016/2017/2018

That is awful. I agree with you about personalities. We were at the Trafford Centre on Boxing Day. MRM has wanted to treat himself to an expensive watch and saw a Breitling on sale at a godd discount. The jewellers shop was manic with only 3 SAs who were Breitling trained. We waited ages for one of them to come free however during that time another customer got the watch. When the SA came free she borrowed it from him for MRM to try on and then told him he could not have that one as the other customer was buying that particular watch "out of spite" as he knew MRM wanted it! They could have ordered it for us but by then MRM felt too upset and said he didn't want it. These greedy awful people make me sick and for someone to move your wheelchair as if it were a discarded trolley is despicable.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I agree about the sales shopping, it is an unpleasant experience and I do think a lot of the stuff ends up on ebay and that is the intention right from the start. I've never been to a Lush sale or a Next sale and don't intend to. I agree about Lush prices, I like Snow Fairy but will not pay nearly £4 for a little bottle, it is just shower gel at the end of the day.
I went into town yesterday (hard to find one round here that isn't flooded), I wouldn't have been there if it wasn't for DD and her River Island gift card (she didn't find anything to spend it on). It was busy but not too bad, DD wanted to look in Primark but even if there were no other customers in that place I would still hate it, there is just too much stuff in there. We went into Boots and there was lots of 1/2 price stuff still, people were looking but nothing manic although the till was busy. I've done an online order with them to pick up this week so I didn't buy anything. I will declare those ins when I get them.
I have some uu's
Wilkos Stawberry & Pomegranate Bath Bomb - DD bought me this for Christmas, it smelt nice, fizzed well and coloured the water pink. WBA
Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Body Lotion 500ml - WBADebt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

hello everyone! i hope you've had a good xmas!
I've done well this year - nowhere near as bad as i have been in the previous few years with the sales. everything just hasn't seemed worth it - even at half price and the attitudes of some people in the sales has been appalling.
INS
from santa:
Marc Jacobs set with mascara, eyeliner and liquid liner.
tata harper mask
nars lip set
urban decay perversion set with eyeliner and mascara
Weleda Skin Food
from the sales:
Illamasqua brush set, 2 x nail polishes, top coat and 2 eye palettes that I've wanted for ages that were half price
Ren moroccan rose otto set from space NK that was half price, i LOVE the scent of this range!
Chloe perfume set that was cheaper than the perfume on its own
Urban Decay lush lash system that I've been meaning to repurchase for ages and it was £10 off
balanced with UU:
Seventeen Clear Mascara - HG need to repurchase. this was so grubby i just looked at it though it needs to go now.
Faith in nature minis x 3 - WBA they were all ok with nice scents
FOM body oil - as before - WBA but i don't believe the contouring claims!
eyeko mascara - WNBA just didn't seem to last and dried really quickly!
Dior mascara- WMBA if they went cruelty free but until then no. it was a good mascara though.
Jurlique serum - WNBA don't think this did anything!
ren overnight mask - WBA but prob only if in a set. i think the elemis papaya one is better.
Benefit that gal - WNBA i think this is ok but not worth the price!
benefit porefessional - WNBA this just blocked my pores and made my skin even more oily than usual
Benefit lash primer - WNBA this was useless
Dior blush - WNBA this was ok but nothing more
Bobbi brown lip stick - WNBA, again, this was ok but nothing special for the price
Bobbi Brown eyeshadow - this had so much fall out i gave up! all day long glitter would be falling down onto my face.
Jurlique toner - WNBA this wast as nice as the liz earle
Wen hair mask - WBA, this stuff makes my hair amazing but you can only buy this in the US.
Freya Luna face steam and foot bath - WBA, these were really relaxing0 -
