Furniture Village

I purchased two leather Salvador sofa's from FV, delivered on the 26th Sept. one had scuffs on the corner, after waiting three weeks a man came and took photo's and agreed it had to be replaced, a new sofa arrived on the 21st November, this again was faulty, the delivery driver took lots of photos, there are large stains on both seats, also I believe it is a "second" where the leather should be smooth there are large wrinkles, and not enough stuffing in some places causing large dents, I have the perfect one to compare. I wonder if an apprentice made this sofa.

I rang FV last Monday 23rd November and complained about the stains and the quality of the making, I was told someone will be in touch, another week has gone by and no contact, I rang again this morning and now waiting a call back.

Do I have the right to ask for a refund? I have had enough of FV, it is over two months now and still not satisfied.

How did you pay for them?
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride

Under the Consumer Rights Act (which replaced the Sale of Goods Act in October 2015) you have a statutory right to return something and get your money back if it's faulty.

Very simplistic and not strictly accurate.

For starters this contract was concluded under SOGA, not the CRAs.

And it's been nearly 6 months since anyone posted on it.
