Hello, anyone know how much it will cost to go from Brentwood to Tottenham Court Road via Crossrail?

As its four years away I doubt anyone will have the price to be charged.
Didn't Shenfield to Liverpool St fares change at the end of May when they were brought under TfL charging. That led to a cut in fares. Can't see why Brentwood would be different.
This is a quote from City AM covering the Shenfield story back in late May.Transport for London (TfL) has promised to charge the same fares for Crossrail as for the rest of the London Underground network. So a peak fare from Romford to Oxford Circus will fall 30 per cent, from £7.60 to £5.10, while off-peak fares for the same route will be cut 40 per cent from £5.20 to £3.10. The fare cuts – which could help 100,000 passengers in the next year – will cost TfL £5m, which it hopes to offset with increased revenue.0 -
There is still a premium, despite the reductions, but it is unclear if the premium will be abolished entirely. I suspect not!
Many people are fooled into thinking the fares are simply based on zone and nothing else. If only that were true...!0 -
They've decided to recover the entire cost from your ticket, so £14.8 billion (and counting).0

And then there will be Crossrail 2 at an estimated cost of up to 32 billion. These mammoth costs seem to go through on the nod when they are in London in stark contrast with infrastructure project in the rest of the country where there is endless debate and argument.0 -
I just need an (even approx) price for a ticket but I can't figure out from your answers!0

Somewhere between £5.10 and £14.8 billion, is that approximate enough for you? Ask a silly question and you'll get a silly answer.0

Ignore the off-topic discussion. As detailed above, the fares were recently reduced, so I would assume there will be no further reductions, and this line will continue to attract a premium, albeit not as a great a premium as it once did.I just need an (even approx) price for a ticket but I can't figure out from your answers!
So, simply take the current fare (£8.20/£5.30) and assume it'll remain broadly unchanged (except in line, roughly, with inflation)0 -
staying on topic, how long is my piece of string?0
