Why does Firefox crash when I change PayPal details

I sell on Ebay and have two PayPal accounts.
Quite often, if I list an item I have to change my PayPal address. Sometimes all is OK but many times the whole Firefox browser crashes.
I then have to restart it, log back into eBay then find the draft item and carry on.
Normally, I can then change the email without problems, but sometimes it crashes again.
Why is this happening please. I have Windows XP

At a guess its XP as never happened to me on Win 8 or Win 10 .0

Funnily enough as I clicked on this page my Firefox crashed on Vista! But I have an 8 year old pc and it's days are numbered!0
