I don't know whether it's the best or not, but it's not difficult to use.

If you manage to get WIndows Movie Maker (SP2) working, i can thoroughly recommend this forum, really helpful nice people and loads of added effects, transitions etc

This is the message I get when I try to use WMM

I need software which is good for preparing an animated cartoon. WMM is only OK for up to 200 images (jpegs & tifs). I may have a go at some of the above software - especially if it is easy to use.
It has been said that Flash can be downloaded free for 30 days...
