    Oh Crossrail 2 again.

When the government and the Mayor find the £30bn+ needed to pay for it let us know - after HS2 there won't be much money left to fund anything else. And they might route it via Turnpike Lane rather than Wood Green of course or not build that extension at all.

Still lots more homes in the area and lots more people who will need state aid via housing benefit to live there. And even more overcrowding on the already packed to capacity Piccadilly line.

I am sure its lovely though and I am sure your equity will grow and grow! And its always nice to know if we get another repeat of August 2011 you will be right at the epicentre of things.

Wrong again. There is lots lots more development going on besides plans for cross rail 2. Next year lots of station road will change hands. Then one of Londons largest regeneration project around the chocolate factory will start happening. One part already started actually behind the great northern railway tavenern. Ally pally is getting many many millions spent on it over the next few years too. Cross rail 2 just the cherry on the pie.

Just sharing a good tip. Shared it four years ago it was certainly a sweet spot and the serious money hasn't even started being spent.

I would caveat some caution because of the macro economic cycle is bound to play a hard ball soon but if you wanted to buy into London, it's a pretty good call ( and has proven to be since I called it four years ago ).

  • Is "chocolate factory" some sort of obscene euphemism with which I am unfamiliar?

Every single borough in London has grand regeneration plans, what makes Wood Green any different from others?

Wood green isn't a borough. It is however being ear marked a hell of a lot of funds to make it the 'heart of haringey' with loads of regeneration all around it ( Tottenham, hornsey, ally pally ).

Do your own research though, im just giving you the heads up. L
