What does he do for a living?
I had a good teacher though and I know that superficial things like that really do not matter and they count for very little when you are looking at the bigger picture. He is an engineer so I will need to revise maths a bit desperately incase he ever talks in depth about his work.

Glad you had a lovely time tonight, and hope you have an equally lovely one tomorrow, and whilst your at it have a drink for me as it's my birthday and i will be forced to make pancakes for my kids and mates- aaaaargh. They've decided i need a pancake party and as i like cooking volunteered me for the job as well, no rest for the wicked.
Happy Birthday for tomorrow.I promise I will have one for you but not too many because it is a school night.
Can you not just buy them ready made and then pretend that you made them by warming them in the microwave?

I haven't got a clue what an engineer does so wouldn't know whether they're well paid or not! :rotfl:
If he pays, enjoy!0 -
I thought of that one but microwave broke two nights ago, i dont mind really- just having a moan for the sake of it . I think it'll be a good night with a few bottles of wine- I have a nice one from Marks and spencer from christmas which is called ruby wine, it has chocolate in it- so wins on all fronts.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

I really do not know either but I thought that it might be a bit rude to ask him that. :rotfl: I do not want him to pay for me though because that is just not right and I want to pay my own way like I should do.Debt August 2007 - £38,204.58 - Completely Debt Free - May 2008 - Now Proudly Saving.DFW Nerd Number 684 - Proud To Have Dealt With My Debts:heartpuls Very Proud Aunty Ciara :heartpuls0 -

That sound lovely but maybe a bit unusual is it chocolate flavoured?Debt August 2007 - £38,204.58 - Completely Debt Free - May 2008 - Now Proudly Saving.DFW Nerd Number 684 - Proud To Have Dealt With My Debts:heartpuls Very Proud Aunty Ciara :heartpuls0 -
It has a chocolate undertone, very smooth and very rich- but surprisingly light.Everyone who has tasted it seems to like it even non red wine lovers. be warned though it is 15% and has a good kick to it.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
