My Dyson's DC24 upright brush-bar stopped working this week. Discovered the motor on brush-bar had worn out and getting prepared to pay for replacement when my sister reminded me that parts were guaranteed for 5 years. I bought Dyson back in 2011. Thankfully, had registered Dyson when I bought it and had all the details. Rang Dyson's customer service and spoke to a very helpful and pleasant lady. She updated my address and phone number because I'd moved since I registered upright. Told me replacement would be sent out in 3-5 days. That same afternoon, I received email to tell me the part had been dispatched.Very impressed with the hassle free experience. Well done Dyson.:T

I had a similar situation when our vac broke down,within the week they attended and fitted a new part and it was all ok, no charge,the vac was two years old0
