I forgot to ask in the last reply...If +25% but only 11% from savings, investment in brokerage account and debt repayment where was the rest from?
I guess 14% wasn't all mortgage payments?
The rest comes from investment appreciation (mostly stock market), dividend payments, repayment on principal with mortgage payments, stock options grants from my and my wife employers, and a bit of real estate capital gain.
This definitely is more than what my beginning of year target was (planned at 15% and landed on 25)Total Debt

11/2019 - £556k (mortgage only)0 -

I put save £15k but after some thought I'm trying to save while paying off debt so The easiest way is to increase my net worth. That's the way I want to do this challenge - seen a few others doing it this way. The new target will be increase net worth by £30k. Please can you make a note of your challenge number (they go up to 107 so far) and put it in your sig? That'd be very helpfulBe who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Can I join please. I aim to save £2,500 in 2016.
2015 thread really helped me0 -
Sorry SF. Can I be a pain and reduce my target. The last couple of days have brought some changes around which means I wont be able to save as much next year as I had hoped. Would rather reduce my target to something manageable than aim too high, with not a hope of reaching it and then get demotivated.
Can I amend it to £3000 please :heart2:Moving on upSPC #382 ~ £40 banked

First post, I saw the thread last year and set a personal goal for myself for £5000, which I managed to pass!
So for 2016 i'd like to set a tougher target at £13,000, so wish me luck and hopefully i'll contribute more to the forum this year also.Save 10k 2017 - £1200/£10,0000 -

It's my first year so might save more but want to be realistic!

I did well from November 14 to November 2015 to save £3600 in a regular saver. That gave me 6 percent interest for one year. I put £3000 on that money in a bank that gives 5 percent interest. I am going to pass £250 of it per month to go into a 5 percent interest regular saver. This November 2015 I began another regular saver which I will pay into at £300 a month.
I am trying to overpay my mortgage so that is where most of my money goes to. When my mortgage ends I want to save more.0 -
Can you add me for £175000
