Voted for your blog SF. Great stuff.
My savings month now runs from 25th monthly when I get paid to 24th so I am declaring £2100 for August as being the gap between my spends and income. My savings accounts have risen even more than that due to my stocks and shares ISA performing very well at the moment but I have not included that otherwise it would be another £500 on top.
This means my target for 2016 has been reached two months prior to my OH retiring in 2 months time. We then get his lump sum though which is worth 12 years of my savings target. Just need to work out what to do with it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Looks like August is going to be a bumper month, finally got my tax back from last year
and although I'm going on holiday from the 31st August for 10 days I haven't yet paid for anything (or even booked anything) but the flights

It would make sense money wise to book more in advance, but we have a very haphazard approach to holiday planning. I like to wake up in the morning not knowing where we're going to sleep that evening, makes it feel like a proper adventure!Save 12K in 2018 #20 - £20,890/£18,000 (116%) November £1950
