PVC vertical blinds - replacing slats

Having had my pvc vertical blinds for a few years (a god send with dogs that look out of the windows) they have started to snap and break. I have repaired a few but its getting to the point where I think I should just replace the lot - obviously they are very simple to remove so I would have thought I could just order some replacement slats and attatch them myself, yet I cant seem to see anywhere online that sells them, not even ebay:confused:
has anyone replaced their pvc blinds??

  • Hi,

seem to be plenty on eBay, you could even buy a bigger blind and shorten the slats, it's quite easy. I've even shortened the running track.

its the solid pvc blinds, rather than the fabric ones - we have them as they are great for the dogs - just bung them in the bath to wash them:D

There are many selling the cheap pvc slats and complete systems on ebay but are they any good? I tend to think not after getting some myself. You can get excellent quality ones and the Rigid PVC slats on their own and complete from a company i got mine from as they are British made and good quality ones. Check them out and give them a call at PVC vertical blinds based in invergordon Scotland. The ones i had were just £2.72 each as i ordered 72 of them so I got free delivery also as under £150 there is a charge for delivery by carrier of £13.95 but still good quality for the money and they'll last unlike many being sold on ebay.
