Artificial Grass Problem?
Yesterday I had artificial grass installed in my back garden and it all looked perfect (apart from the grass being flattened due to it being rolled for a number of weeks prior to delivery).
Over night it rained quite a bit and was windy and today I have noticed a few patches of sand in lumps that makes the grass look like there are certain areas that grass is missing....
How I can solve this problem?
Also what is recommended to get the grass up right again?
Thanks

Please bear in mind this gardening forum is less frequently visited than the 'In My Home' forum, especially at this time of year.
Many people who come here regularly would never choose artificial grass, which can suffer as many problems as the real thing, yet cost much more.
However, these are surely questions you should be directing at whoever installed the grass, at least in the first instance.0 -
Hi I had artificial grass laid last year and absolutely love it!You should be able to brush the sand back in with a yard brush which will also bring the fibres back up.Get in touch with your suppliers tho as well, mine were brilliant at sorting out a problem in the early days and it came under the eight year guarantee anyway.HTHmortgage free 3/10/12:)0

Thank you for your response.
Who did you purchase yours from?
I have attempted to brush it away but the lumps remain but then again it is still wet and not been a dry period for more than 6hrs since installation.London, UK0 -
Does sound like it needs to dry up a bit first, then you should be able to brush it.I bought mine from easigrass who have a franchise down in salisbury which was the nearest one to me.Never regretted getting it,33 years of pushing that !!!!!!! mower around in my last garden was enough for me!mortgage free 3/10/12:)0
