Black Friday

The only Black Friday deal I took was the one from FreedomPop: a second SIM offering free data, calls and text: £0.00.0

The only worthwhile "Black Friday" deal I could find was the free Raspberry Pi on the cover of a magazine. But of course WHSmith's stocks were scarce and the copies they did have were bought up in one go by speculators to re-sell for profit. Why have you even posted this? It's obvious! Do you really think Samsung & LG would have agreed to wholesale discounts on their products for retailers to sell cheap just because it's black Friday!
Exactly my point.0 -
The Pi on the Mag was not a black friday deal as such though was it? Just happened to be the release date.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

In most cases it's clever pricing and shifting stock they wouldn't otherwise sell.0

Just happened to be the release date so they decide to give it away. Not hard.0 -
I just purchased a Bosch Juicer for £25 from B&M which genuinely retails for £60 elsewhere which is a good deal0

You can view or download the magazine for free here.
I guess it usually costs a fiver; the same price as the Pi Zero.0 -
Freezer from Curry's, good price. Free next day delivery slots all taken. Can deliver Friday for £40. No thanks. Okay Deliver Tuesday for £20. That was three days earlier and cheaper? They were a bit p***ed that I didn't buy insurance but overall saved a few bob so not too bad. Though I think I could knock something off any day of the week. :cool:0

I was intending to buy two items from Amazon, but needed to have both available to get the free delivery (and 10% off until tomorrow).
One item appeared a couple of times in 'Warehouse' but sold in minutes. However, the other, one of three available, gradually sneaked up from £11+ to £15+ over the last few days, so now it's only £2 less the 'new' item price. (I realise that Amazon prices fluctuate, but that is usually the cost of 'new' being adjusted to match competition)0
