Hi , just wondering if I cancel my contract with them giving the 30 days notice , if they don't come back to me with a better deal , can I just tell them I changed my mind and want to keep services , or does it not work that way ?
I don't wanna be left with no tv / bb etc whilst in between providers .

Hi ...I was with them over 24 years and usually they came up with a. Good deal in the last week....this time they didn't.......what I found out from a customer service agent is that if I had not got a new supplier by the time the notice was complete Virgin lwould et me roll over on a daily rate until the new services were installed .....:A..they did this and I was not left without services:j I rolled over about a week over the contract end.....with sky now......was nervous at first but really happy now ....worth watching hotukdeals.....:beer:0

Also...yes you can change your mind and stay with them at the last minute......good luck....I went to sky cos they gave me a 12 month contract and great cash back thru topcashback......£100 marks and Spencer voucher plus £63 cash and only £17.40 per month landline and bb......0

Thanks for that great info , I am looking at sky deals and it's currently half what I'm currently paying , I know there are pro's and cons with every provider , and I hate having to do this , if they just offered a fair price to everyone there would be no need to keep jumping ship .
The one thing I do need is decent broadband , and the sky fibre looks ok , hopefully it may not come to that , but who know's , thanks again .0 -
Your welcome.....I was dubious about sky especially the bb being up to same standard as virgin but honestly very little difference apart from customer experience so much better.....loads of comms about installation and no messing around...here when they said...did the job and gone ...would just make sure you inform virgin if you want to roll forward...as you know not all the depts speak to each other!!!!!.......tell retentions and customer service separately...that way you are covered......of course you will need a bt line but I got mine free as part of the deal and I did not need to keep the number.....sorted in a week!!!!0

Just rang them and gave 30 days notice , got an offer of £11 pm discount for 18 mth's and free sky movies for 9 mth's , Gonna sit tight and see what occurs in the next week or 2 as I'm sure they can do better .0
