Options
Can somebody explain in simple steps how to transfer photos from Samsung Galaxy Tab to my Laptop?

All the photos on my laptop are transferred from my camera into Picasa.

I have some photos taken on my tablet which I want to add to Picasa on my laptop.

Can anyone help please?

    plug the tabley into the laptop with a usb cable , go to explorer (NOT internet explorer) on the laptop and look in the folders on the tablet for the photos , right click your mouse and select copy , if there are a few , right click on one and press Contral and A , and copy , move back to your laptop drive , open the folder where you want to put them , and right click on an empty space and press paste

    If you don't have a suitable cable then you may be able to use Bluetooth, depending on how many photos and how big they are.

    Use a mini SD card to lift them from your tablet then paste them from that to the laptop.

    I did the same from tablet to PC.

    the charging cable , or any modern mobile phone charging cable should do it , I refrained from mentioning Bluetooth , as the OP seems to be struggling with a basic file copy command , and therefore setting up and sorting folder location by Bluetooth might be harder

    How right you are!

    I'm getting in a comlete muddle and although I did eventually try to connect via Bluetooth I'm not getting anywhere with that because it all looks very complicated. I can't work out how to establish a connection.

    Anyway, back to basics.

    I've connected my tablet to the laptop with USB cable and it's listed in my devices. When I open the tablet by right clicking in devices, I can't even find my 'Photos' folder which I can see on the tablet on my Home screen.

    I tried importing using Picasa, which recognises the tablet but can't find any photos, it just says there are no photos to import.

    I'm tearing my hair out. Any more suggestions please?

    So far, the only way I've managed to get the photos onto my laptop is to send them individually as attachments to myself via gmail, save them to a folder then import into Picasa from the new folder on my laptop. A bit long-winded!

    On Tablet Upload to 'Google photos App' if they are not already there

    On tablet install this App;

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.photos

    Log in to Google photos or 'Picasa web albums' on the laptop.

    On laptop;

    https://picasaweb.google.com/home

    They will sync and appear

    Download to Picasa

    Are they supposed to sync automatically? I've got the app open on the tablet which is connected to the laptop with my photos taken with the tablet, I've got the Picasa Web Albums open on the laptop and all my photos are there, but not those from the laptop, nothing seems to be syncing.
