Hi all,
I've used McAfee Total Protection software for the past 7 years. After having less than happy experiences with Norton and Kaspersky, McAfee seemed to work best for me. However it looks like their 2016 version will only cover 1 pc and you have to download an app to cover further devices - the reviews aren't good in that respect
I want to protect 3 PCs (mine, the OH's and a back-up laptop that I still use occasionally) and usually purchase the 'boxed' software when the price has dropped to the lowest possible (ie I never buy from the brand's site) :money:
I also use the free version of MalwareBytes alongside McAfee.
I wondered if you good folks can suggest any alternatives for me?
Thanks :beer::beer:

I currently use Bit Defender Total Security
http://www.bitdefender.co.uk/solutions/total-security.html
35% off at the moment. 3 computers = £38.97
Or Panda (i've it used before, but it doesn't 'rate' as highly as some others)
Panda Global Protection 2016

Currently Half Price and so for 3 computers it's £35

Set the DNS in your router to OpenDNS and enable blocking of malware, phishing etc. web-sites before they can deliver nasties to your PCs.0

That's a useful additional defence. I didn't realise that OpenDNS provided those options on top of their standard category blocking options.I_have_spoken wrote: »Set the DNS in your router to OpenDNS and enable blocking of malware, phishing etc. web-sites before they can deliver nasties to your PCs.0
