The GROUPON DECEPTION OF 2015

Groupon are now accepting any ads even if deceptive or outright lies. It used to be a place to offer genuine bargains but now, practically everything sold on GROUPON can be found elsewhere cheaper. For example -
Ladies Wedge Boots at £34.95 - quoted in description REDUCES FROM
£150 prices from Redfoot but on Redfoot these boots are £24.95 with free delivery.
Ladies Geneva Rainbow watch £6.95 plus £1.99 delivery
eBay BUY IT NOW from multiple sellers - £1.79 with FREE DELIVERY TO £3.87 with free delivery!
And with their mystery gift purchases, pound shop items are being given away as well as items that are nowhere near as much as they claim.
What can be done about this? The last place we want to be swindled is online where it's supposed to save us all money.

I'm sure the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) may have something to say about this. I checked the ASA's website and they cover a variety of ads including:Advertisements on the Internet, including:
banner and display ads
paid-for (sponsored) search
Marketing on companies’ own websites and in other space they control like social networking sites Twitter and Facebook
Check out: ASA
A complaint can be raised to them via telephone or this online form

Thanks. I submitted a complaint to them about one ad but I wil have to do one for the whole site. I can sit there and find 90% of products cheaper elsewhere by reputable shops/sellers.0
