Can I benefit from current account offers one for me and one for my partner

Hi,
This is hopefully and easy yes/no question...
I want to make the most of the various current account deals on offer. Can I open an account for myself with one bank (say, Halifax) and another for my partner (married), with another bank (for instance, TSB). Hence, we'll be receiving double benefits. We will be able to satisfy the conditions that each bank requires in order to pay the interest or benefit.
Hope that makes sense....articulation is not my strong point!
Thanks. E

No "you" won't benefit twice. You can get a switching bonus and your partner can get a switching bonus. I would each open a single account getting a switching bonus each before opening a joint account with the same bank.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Yes your wife can bank with another provider than you. but nothing stops you, yourself, having more than one current account anyways. I personally have current accounts with HSBC, TSB, Halifax, Natwest, Santander, Nationwide all at the same time.0
