Used a Claim Company Question

Hi,
If I have used a Claim Company to chase some of the PPI owed to me can I also do the claims myself?
As I have been waiting for over 2 years for one of the cases and keep getting told "It is with the Financial Ombudsman"

It would seem pointless to do that as the complaint via the CMC or made by you goes to the same address at the bank/lender and is handled by the same process. As I have been waiting for over 2 years for one of the cases and keep getting told "It is with the Financial Ombudsman"
2 years is not unusual some years back but that is longer than normal now. Are you getting told that of this delay by the FOS or the CMC?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

Has the Ombudsman service told you this or has the CMC?
What does the ombudsman say when they communicate with you?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
