    Tesco were doing a 49" Digihome tv for £200 on black friday.
    Can't see you getting one any cheaper but I can't vouch for the quality
  • Forget smart TV features - even the high end tvs suffer from the manufacturers not supporting the smart features outside of the current model year. Far better to concentrate on the picture quality and use a separate device for smart features.

    Thanks all, I think I now know which route I'm going to take and now the only decision is whether to go 32in or 43in and that's all down to the available space. Better get measuring...

    I would guess that 32" would be fine for a bedroom - too big any you wouldn't be able to see it properly - am I right??
