Tesco Customer Services - Praise

Tesco Customer services have really improved lately.
Whenever I send them an email they always respond with a phone call within a couple of days.
The last time I had a problem with something they sorted it out promptly and also sent me a gift card.
So praise where it is due and I hope it continues like this, it does encourage me to shop with them.

I agree. I complained a few weeks ago with regards their Tesco clubcard double up scheme and they sent me a £30 gift card. Net result....I got my mobile effectively for free and I topped it with £10 for free using their more than generous offer.0

I also agree, but about in store customer service.
I was once , rudely, refused a refund on a refrigerated dessert, which was incomplete , on the grounds that they didn't give refunds on perishable goods.
Nowadays, they are pleasant, don't quibble and sometimes replace with a better item.
I've never had problems with phone or website complaints, which always seem to result in vouchers or refunds over the value of the item complained about. (Bad oranges get taken back to store, but products I don't like (eg all gravy and little meat) I call or email about. )0 -
I also thought Tesco customer service were impressive when I emailed about a mexican kit where the flavour sachet had all gone rock solid. Phone call half an hour later, apology, refund and voucher.
ASDA had such awful customer service I gave up using their home deliveries. Their in store was really rude too.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
I phoned Tesco customer service last week when the frozen items didn't arrive with our groceries delivery and they were very apologetic and got the store manager to call me back who was also very apologetic and offered to bring them out on a later delivery run or refund them. It was only 2 items so I said a refund was fine.
In the past they would've just offered a refund rather than going to the trouble of coming back later.0
