Boiler in Bedroom

Most houses don't have a boiler in the bedroom. There's a good reason for that.
Best place for a boiler is in a bathroom or loft space - not taking up room in the kitchen like most of our our old fashioned houses.
Someone mentioned having it in an outbuilding - I grew up in a house with this arrangment which was great for noise levels and especially the cat who loved to sleep on its roof.0 -
I had mine moved from the kitchen the cupboard in the 3rd bedroom where the tank was anyway. This is our spare room. I think it would keep me awake if it were on, but not waken me if I were asleep. The shower pump is a noisy beast though, but then we all have showers around the same time anyhow, so it is not a big problem. As far as safety is concerned, the gas engineer and friend had no issues and said they were just as safe there as in the kitchen etc. We have alarms and regular servicing too.
guess it is a personal opinion, but I would go for the cheaper option.Food and Smellies Shop target £50 pw - managed average of £49 per week in 2013 down to £38.90 per week in 20160
