Please can you cast your eye over my email to Tracy - Executive Assistant to the Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive Proffesor Michael Gunn:-

    Good Afternoon Tracy,

I would greatly appreciate if you could bring the request and formal complaint attached here within to the attention of Vice Chancellor and Chief Executive: Professor Michael Gunn as soon as possible.

Please be advised that I am also preparing a draft letter of this complaint to send to newspapers and various social media outlets should a) my request not be met with swift and comprehensive action or recourse and b) my complaint not be treated with the up-most professionalism and investigated further.

    Many Thanks in advance

It's up to you how you fight the VC.

But consider holding back on the blackmail threats aspect till you get any reply

(And what has Tracy done to deserve this publicity?)

Those who do go to court, do they pay for legal help or represent themselves?
The idea behind the small claims court is that you don't need a solicitor as it's intended to be layman friendly.

But if you decide to get legal assistance bear in mind the costs you can be awarded if successful are limited

Thanks, I had considered how to word that portion without it sounding blackmail-ey but clearly failed. I think I shall remove it from my mail.

My Apologies on the 'Tracy' front, surname removed although she is easily identifiable by being the Assitant to the Head of the University in question.

good point, I left that part of the email out anyway.
