I sent the reply to the ppc on 1st Dec, I cc'do the solicitors and all I've had in reply is the solicitors automated response again, no PCN sent to my brother who was driving and no correspondence to me either, should I be worried? The final date for payment of this"charge" is tomorrow...0

Why would you feel 'worried'? As the RK, you've discharged any liability by naming the driver. Although I think you're being a bit premature if you're expecting your brother to receive a NtK within 3 working days of you writing to the PPC.
If you get any more hassle you must complain to the BPA and DVLA and get them to investigate TPS.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I guess as I've had no response at all, guess we shall await the PCN sent to him and then go from there, cheers.0

Bumping this as I've now had a letter from a court?
I sent an email to the ppc and the "solicitors" stating the name of the driver at the time of the alleged offence before Christmas, I heard nothing from the "solicitors" other than automated letter replies, and I got an email from the ppc telling me to deal with "solicitors"
Would it be worth ringing said solicitors and reminding them that by law as they now have the drivers info it's not me they shold be pursuing?0 -
which court / (Northampton or Salford or a County Court ?)
who issued it ? (PPC or a Solicitors or some other entity ?)
have you acknowledged this "court" letter yet ?
if it is an actual genuine court letter, read the newbies thread post #1 , court section two thirds of the way down
it it is genuine, then you need to deal with it
the more info you give us the better help you may get0 -

If you have a court claim you now have to defend it as your first priority after acknowledging it. You can't do this by phone nor by contacting the solicitors, this is not easy now but can be defended with some work on your part.
Is it a real claim form from the court themselves with a stamp and claim number? Please answer Redx's questions and read the NEWBIES thread, the part that is headed 'Small Claim?'PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

There is a stamp but it doesn't looked stamped on if that make sense? Looks like it's been printed at the same time the document was printed and not stamped after if that makes any difference...
There is a claim number as the top starting with "C1"0 -
I have spoken with the court and it is a genuine letter etc.
Can I ask, the email I sent off the back of the advice sought on here regarding naming the driver, any reason why this would be ignored? And does that go in my favour at all?0 -
I have sent an email to the "solicitors" who wrote to me (Premier Solicitors) to name the person driving as it wasn't actually me at the time.
Did you give them the name AND address of the driver, your brother?
Have you now acknowledged the claim online via MCOL (not by phone) but leave the defence box BLANK.
And who is the PPC?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
