Rights after refund

Hi
I purchased a fridge freezer online from Currys. Once delivered I found a mark on the door.I phones Currys to enquire about a partial refund for the mark.If I take the refund {say £20-£30 } , and the appliance breaks down within a year .Have I forfeited my legal rights to a replacement or repair ?.
If so might be better to live with the mark than lose my rights.

No you do not lose that right for a later remedy if the thing goes wrong.
You do however lose the right to reject the goods because it has a mark on the door - seems obvious, but needs saying.
