Dear all.
I'm helping my partner get his file back on track. We've just reached a full and final offer with the last creditor on an old mortgage with another person.
They've advised he will have this showing as partially settled on his file and they will stop reporting and break the link.
I've already been in contact with all the agencies and got his file and they show links to his ex which will only cause issues long term on his file.
Experian have been brilliant and removed the financial links (thank you experian) however I'm struggling with call credit and yet to tackle Equifax.
So after that long winded explanation the simple question is once an account is showing partially settled but still default can you apply to remove the other links as long as the default account has the link removed?

Emma, I wish I could however I don't have the person name and as it wasn't my file there won't be a record. However as a general praise experian are really good at talking through the hypothetical situations and would recommend anyone calls them to discuss0
