Hi a newb on here just wondering what do they mean by purchases can i get cash from a ATM can i deposit into another account like skrill or a bookmakers account any help much appreciated thanks :beer:

No, ATM withdrawal isn't a purchase. Neither are some 'pseudo-cash' transactions like gambling ones or purchasing foreign currency.

As a side note, it's fundamentally wrong to borrow money for gambling. Don't gamble with money that you can't afford to lose.

yes it was just for matched betting and opening account offers so what would you class as purchases thanks

Purchases are goods (or services) you buy in a shop or on-line.

Well, bookmakers provide services that you can buy in shops or online. However these services are classed as cash transactions, not purchases.

Purchases are all transaction except cash transactions and balance transfers.
Cash transactions are

cash advances which includes transfers to another account which are not balance transfers, or if you buy any foreign currency or travellers’ cheques, or use your card for gambling.
