Paying credit card bill with pre-pay gift card

I have a prepaid VISA gift card that I was thinking of using to pay off a credit card bill (Barclaycard) using their pay by debit card option.
Does anyone know if that will work? I'm worried that it will be seen as a credit card and that I will end up paying some sort of balance transfer fee.

Most likely it won't work and will be simply rejected.
No danger of any unexpected fees.0 -
Try it and see what happens?0
