I need 1 fence put up with 1 concrete post, will need base digging, and new concrete poured into the hole for the new post.
How much should all this cost???
Material costs?
Labour costs?
Just wondering what the going rate was? (Hayes, West London)
Many Thanks

Hi OP, hope you don't mind me jumping on as my nan needs this done as well and has been quoted £800 is this generally the going rate? She has purchased 90% of material herself."I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0

£800 for a panel & post???0 -
I had three panels and three wooden posts plus a new gate for £275 last summer if that helps? (I in Milton Keynes)Our dream has come true...0

A 6'x6' fence panel is about £15, a 4" 8' fence post would be about a tenner , then postcrete is about £3 a bag, would prolly want 2/3 bags? Might also want a new gravelboard, another £2.
Wouldn't take long to do but might be tricky with just one person, I reckon an hour with 2 men.0 -
I am in NW London & paid £550 for 8m of fence with 4 concrete posts & 4 fences
One important thing which I forgot to ask is you chose the fence panel! The one I got installed is very tall & very ugly & I am stuck with it now.
It is worth paying an extra £50 or so to get a nice looking one.0
