I am thinking of opening a First Direct Current Account, partly for the switching [STRIKE]bribe [/STRIKE] bonus, but also to get access to the regular saver account.
But I already have several current accounts, which presumably they will see on a credit check (though they will also see that I am solvent), and my income just halved (retired). I have heard that First Direct don't accept all applicants. Is this true? Does anyone know or at least have an inkling of what their criteria are?
