at the back theres the bit for putting in emergency contact
is it ok to score a name out or do i need to change it another way as one of the emergency contacts is dead and the other we dont speak to

I've recently got a new passport and the accompanying leaflet says "if these details change, you should write the new details on a piece of plain paper and affix it over the old details."
