    i like the approach laid out by takman..
    i do that, in effect, with 2000 with TSB and 5000 with Lloyds and 2500 with Nationwide.. DDs come out but i have them covered on top of the 2, 5 and 2.5
    other accounts have not much left in them.. other than HSBC which has chunks coming and out, and does have an od facility just in case
