in Credit cards
HI there can anyone help me please!? I am very desperate for your help! I lived with a partner about 4 years ago and we split and i put all the bills in my name. Very stupid i know but anyway i am in alot of debt and struggling to come to terms with my situation. I have just recently found a good job with a morgage and property shop. I would like to know where i can obtain a credit card for emergencies and if i can pay off my debts with a credit card? What is going on the bank (halifax/bank of scotland) have refused me a loan/credit card. I cannot get credit at the clothes stores. My life is a prison !!! Any advice welcome. I have no experience in this field!

Try Vanquis, or Capital One.
Having said that, if you have a lot of debt, are you sure you really need a credit card? It might be best to focus on paying off your debts with the money you are getting from your job?
If you do get a credit card, the interest rate (especially with Vanquis) will be *hideous*, so you must pay it off every month....0 -
If you are in a hole stop digging, try asking on the Debt Free Wanabee forum. I'd suggest in your position the last thing you need is another credit or store card.0
