Switching - now paying twice for gas!
Options
I made a switch from Sainsbury Energy (BG) to Green Star Energy in October via the cheap energy club. Green Star say they have switched both Gas and Electric, but Sainsbury Energy saying that my gas is still supplied by them and they continue to take money by DD. So at the moment, it seems I'm paying for my gas twice, to two different suppliers. Anyone had any issues like this, and how was it resolved?

Do Green Star take direct debits in advance ? It may appear as if you are paying twice if they do0

Following correspondence with both companies, they are both claiming to be supplying gas to my premises.0

Hi Daverave7
That does sounds annoying. Have you checked that the correspondence from both companies refers to the same MPRN? This is your individual supply number so it shouldn't be possible for this to be with both companies at the same time.
If you need clarification on who is actually you current supplier, you may wish to speak to the meter helpline on 0870 608 1524.
I hope this helps and that you're able to resolve this.0
