How do you check facebook competitions.

I've avoided entering many FB comps as I find it difficult to find the time to go back and check. I feel I'm missing out on some really good competitions. Does anyone have a system for checking that they would like to share?
Alice came to a fork in the road. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

i tend to share any fb comp i enter on my own wall (but change setting to only me so i don't annoy my friends lol) then once or twice a week i'll go through and check any that have ended to see if winner has been announced... any that have been announced i then delete off my profile x0

There is an Activity Log on Facebook, just to the bottom right of the cover photo(or if you using the fb app flick through the options where it says about me, friends, likes etc), if you click that it shows every like, comment share you have done.
You could look through it daily/weekly (depending on how many you enter), and click on pictures or profiles to check.0 -
I have joined comping groups on FB but I also bookmark each comp with end dates and categorize them, I know it can be time consuming but I sometimes find comp announcements can get missed (especially if late announcing), that way I can post other people's wins on the group too if I canYou never learn anything by doing it right

A very special thank you to everyone that posts :heartpuls0 -
I use the reminders feature on my iPad. Takes an extra 5 seconds to set up, but I only enter 5-10 FB comps a day. I save a direct link to the competition, along with the date the comp finished on, in the reminder list. That way I can just quickly look down the list and see that any dates that have turned red (from black - red means the reminder is overdue) are comps that have finished and I can just click on its link and check the competition directly. Once I find a winner (who is never me, booooo!
) then I delete the reminder. Takes a few minutes a day maximum

Am I missing something? If I enter a FB comp I always make some comment, at the very least a smiley face, then when the winner is announced I get a notification from the competition promoter. If I have won the notification says they have replied to my comment.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competition Time, Site Feedback and Marriage, Relationships and Families boards. I find the lovely people in the comping groups on Facebook are amazing at tagging others when they win.
I'm always so grateful as I don't often have the time to check back to every comp I've entered to see if I've won. If I notice any announcements myself in my timeline I always make a point of posting and tagging in the winners group myself & try and give something back too.
I would have missed quite a few wins over the years if it wasn't for the kindess of other thoughtful compers notifying me.0 -

Sometime the companies announce the winner on a new post, not the original competition post. It's the worst when they do that and put the winners names in an image, so your name isn't even searchable as text - so if you miss it, and no one tags you, it's bye bye prize.TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Thanks oliveoyl, I didn't know that! But now in a quandary, do I spend more hours logging and checking or just carry on regardless, blissfully unaware?I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competition Time, Site Feedback and Marriage, Relationships and Families boards. I've got my facebook settings on US language, which means I can search for my own name on public pages (it brings up a few of your own and friends posts before the public ones - just scroll past them). That obviously won't pick up the ones that are embeded as images - I just figure that if it was a good prize, it would probably make it to the winners names facebook groups where I hope I'd be tagged, I'm certainly not going to flog through all the facebook & company pages of the competitions I've entered to find one mascara win in 6 months or something.TOP MONEYSAVING TIP
