Microsoft states

Examples of data we collect include your name, email address, preferences and interests; browsing, search and file history; phone call and SMS data; device configuration and sensor data; and application usage.

    It's a bug in the BB platform code that causes that.
    Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.

    Sort of a bug, in so much that it's an intentional vBulletin feature having an unintentional consequence on that link.

    It's this feature:

    seeing the underscore as a qualifying character for that limit, and stupidly applying it to urls, and so breaking up the

    microsoft_renamed_data_slurper_reinserted_windows_10

    part of the url.

    Seems to be legit. Spybot Anti-Beacon is a standalone tool which was designed to block and stop the various tracking (telemetry) issues present in Windows 10

    There are a few programmes that claim to disable Windows 10 telemetry. Use at your own risk though as MS say they can damage your install (though one could say 'they would say that').

    Thanks for the explanation, was thinking it was a parsing bug with double underscores in the URL.
