W10 Cortana or US keyboard.

Right, to get Cortana working, I have to set everything to US, but then I get US keyboard, ie 2 UC is @, not ", as in US, I cant get both together, is this possible, ive tried Googling, but no "Workarounds" work, its either 1 or the other. Thanks

Something's not right with your settings then, I have Cortana working fine with UK region, English (UK) speech etc.

I had the same problem. You have to load English (United Kingdom) speech recognition.
Then you can select English (United Kingdom) as an input language.
    Then Cortana becomes available.
Then a couple of days later you disable Cortana because, once the novelty wears off, it's a bit rubbish.

Yes, these digital assistants are a bit rubbish at the moment. An example:

Ask Cortana "What time is it?"

She'll display the time and say "Here's what I found."

Ask Cotanta "What time is it in the UK?"

    She'll speak the time.

And you have to be quite specific about what you want. Most of the time Cortana, and her rivals, will do a web search.
