Parking Eye charge notice

Hi All,

I have received a parking eye charge notice for being over 20 mins at a Morrison's car park.

I am not sure what the procedure is to dispute this.

Could you lovelies please point me in the right direction? It would be much appreciated.
I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

Complain in store to a manager (not service desk) and/or write to the CEO of Morrissons and tell them you, your family, and your friends are about to become ex customers if this ticket isn't cancelled. Do not allow anyone to fob you off as Morrissons employ this scumpany so it is their responsibility to sort it out.

Meanwhile, read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES and appeal using the template letter therein. Do this as well as complaining as it is not over until parking lie tell you it is over.

Do not pay, do not ignore, do not reveal who was driving, do not miss the appeal deadline, never, ever 'phone a parking company.
I married my cousin. I had to...

Thanks. I've read the sticky & done an online appeal using the template on the sticky. I used temporary email address :) & made sure not to name myself as the driver. I will also complain to morrisons direct too.

Many thanks for all the help you all offer.

Yes, the newbies thread is the place to start.

WHO IS THE PARKING COMPANY AND WHICH MORRISONS

If you still have the receipt. see the store manager and tell him Morrisons is treating customers with contempt using these parking companies when you are spend money with them. Some store managers will listen, others will not and those who do not should be reported to the CEO with your complaint and requesting Morrisons cancel the ticket.

Morrisons are suffering in the retail market place as are Sainsbury's and Tesco so pose the question
"Why should I, my family and friends spend money with you again"

The supermarkets allowed these parking cowboys in, now is the the time they kick them out or face less customers.

Do not be fobbed off with them saying it is to stop car park abuse, yes it does happen but it is such a small percentage to penalise everyone else.

These parking companies are running riot at the moment as it is a huge cash cow. Most offer incentives to those foolish enough to employ them, this means the supermarkets get a commission from your parket ticket.

The private parking industry must be considered as low life so please help everyone by signing this government petition

  • Hi everyone.
Just to let you know that I received a £85 PCN from PE for being 45mins over my 2-hour stay. I am a regular shopper at Morrisons and after the advice received from other people who have had the same thing, I decided to approach the manager at Morrisons. I rang up tonight and asked to be put through to the manager and was polite and friendly & he told me to go and see him and take the PCN. He said he would cancel it for me and took my details. He signed my PCN and wrote "cancelled" on it with the date and said he would sort it for me. If I get another letter in the mean-time I will obviously call him back up but it seems the best bet is approaching the manager first in a phone call/face to face and try and get them to lift it by explaining you are a local, regular customer. Hope this helps.

Also, Head Office cancel these just with one complaint email (no need to show a receipt) to:

    donotreply@morrisonsplc.co.uk

Always cancelled within a week. But BLAME Morrisons for signing a contract lasting up to FIVE YEARS with ParkingEye...who on Earth would have agreed to that, allowing your own agent to sue your customers. Madness.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
