Just a note of caution and sorry to those that have booked at this dive..sorry hotel. We booked in advance 1 night stay and 2 weeks parking package at the Copthorne Hotel Crawley Gatwick.
I can honestly say this is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in, please stay away. Too many things that went wrong to mention here, but needless to say a "Letter" has been sent and waiting for a reply.
(Had a good holiday abroad though).

It will be interesting to learn if they have the decency to reply or even give you anything in the way of compensation. I was not expecting anything from the Accor Group in France when I pointed out the failings in a hotel which we booked with them and they very kindly sent me a voucher for 70 euros. Totally unnecessary as an apology was as good but now I am a fan and will stay at their hotels again. I would wait and see what they said and if they do not reply go to tripadvisor.co.uk and leave your comments about the hotel there.0

We stayed there a couple of years back and found it OK for what we booked it for ...same as you 1 night and 2 weeks parking before a flight. The food was very expensive and not very good. But I did like the on site parking which I thought was much eaier than parking up somewhere else then having to get either a taxi or shuttle back to the hotel.
The Hilton used to have on site parking but the last time we stayed there it was on another car park which I felt was a rip offIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0
