Can anyone help please. I have tried to contact HSBC to ask if I am entitled to PFI compensation but when I ring the number given on this site (08457 404 404) I can't find any enquiry option. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd use 0800 881 155 which is the number off the Financial Ombudsman website.0

The number is 03457 404 404
See details below how to complain:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

The problem with using sites like MSE for information is that the data is going to go out of date very quickly.
Financial companies have not been able to use 0845 numbers since October 2015. Most converted the 0845 to 0345. If you looked on the HSBC site (which is after all the most logical place to look for HSBC contact info) you would have seen that.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
