    I don't see his U-turn as total failure, more a case of reassuring to see that occasionally governments do actually bother listening and that MP's do sometimes show their worth.

    I think his hand was a bit forced - plus this way they remain the working party and can reinforce the fact that labour are the benefits party.

    Well everyone has just been informed of a payrise in April so that beats the increase taxes of the liebour party anyday

    Will be interesting to see how they make that one work. Second home? No, we're moving but we can't sell the other place.

    We're splitting up.

    No U turn. The introduction of Universal Credit will be used to create the necessary changes. More than one way of skinning a cat. GO has his objectives and is going to achieve them.
